Our Dahlia Tuber Pre-Sale is your opportunity to secure your favourite varieties before the season begins!

We grow a carefully curated collection of dahlias here at Buds & Blooms Flower Farm in Puketapu, Hawke’s Bay. These homegrown tubers are harvested, cleaned, and stored with care to ensure you’re receiving healthy, high-quality stock ready for planting.

 Pre-Sale Dates:

SUNDAY 20th JULY - 7.30pm and runs until sold out. Tubers will be available to order online only via our website.

 Shipping:

Tubers will be dispatched in AUG/SEPT once conditions are right for planting and all tubers have passed final quality checks.

Shipping is NZ-wide.

 What You’ll Receive:

Each order includes:

  • 1 healthy dahlia tuber (or clump), clearly labelled by variety with at least one visible eye

  • A care guide with planting and growing tips

 Important Notes:

  • Tubers are limited and sell out quickly — we recommend signing up to our mailing list for early access.

  • Dahlia tubers are a bit like people — they come in all shapes and sizes! Some are plump, some are slender, and some look a little quirky. No matter their shape, each one will have at least one “eye” — that tiny growing point is where your beautiful new dahlia plant will sprout from.

  • Due to biosecurity, we cannot ship to international addresses.

  • Pre-sale orders are final and cannot be changed once placed.

  • In the event a variety does not over winter well in my care, a full refund of that variety will be given BEFORE shipment is made.
  • If you have any issues with your order upon receiving it - you have 48 hours to notify me. Photos and details of the issue will be required.
  • Once your tubers are collected, they become your responsibility to store, plant, and care for until they bloom
